Neighbors (2014)

Decent to average comedy. Sure it's immature comedy, but it's a different type of immature comedy than we normally get from Rogen so you can't give it grief for being the same old, same old. The Air Bags were a highlight.

I'm deducting points for Zac Efron making me feel like shit about my body for two hours.

Although I wouldn't say this was a homerun, it definitely hit the right notes for me. So many comedies rely on the same recycled material, and this one isn't completely innocent of that, but there is a good amount of genuinely well executed comedy in here.

Neighbors' noteworthy but tries too tough. Byrne's a bright bulb but Efron's effluvial. Rogen's raunchy but rarely rotten.

Entertaining enough.

A few winning moments. The rest is pretty much as you'd expect - I feel that if I hadn't seen this in a multiplex the score would have been significantly lower.
