Ex Machina (2015)

Unpopular opinion: I was really excited to watch this moving but it only managed to live up to my expectation in regards to styling. The approach to AI wasn't anything new or refreshing (which is what I had wanted) and the ending was exactly what I don't like in AI stories.

Ex Machina (2015)

Slow and deliberate low key sci-fi that harkens back to the pre-Star Wars style of what science fiction was on film. It is both interesting and mysterious to watch the story evolve.

Ex Machina (2015)

Slow sci-fi - the best kind of sci-fi. A well articulated piece that reflects on the intricacies of human morality and emotional awareness. With enough narrative layers to remain interesting, the simplicity of the themes is maintained, allowing them to be well explored.

Ex Machina (2015)

I feel kind of insecure giving this 100, it wasnt consistently perfect but the amount of intrigue that I felt throughout it was unparalleled and my jaw is still kind of on the ground from the ending.

Ex Machina (2015)

A pretty solid sci-fi artificial intelligence movie. Although compelling, thinking back, they just hammer on one central ethical question, and all the other dressing surrounding it was superficial. Still - this is a worth a watch.
