August: Osage County (2013)

Was not optimistic about this and am a little concerned that I liked it as much as I did. The cast was great and seeing such a dysfunctional family is like seeing a train wreck - sadistically entertaining. Did not find this as offensive as so many other people seemed to.

August: Osage County (2013)

Could not refrain from comparing with the play. I suspect if you've not seen it, the film would be more enjoyable. This was horrible. I'll give it 50 for the super cast (particularly for Streep). But I'm way over generous as this film was straight out flat.
