Blade Runner (1982)

I was really enjoying this movie until the MC became a rapist. Would have been cool to have a female character who wasn't a robot too. Apart from that there was a lot going on but very little being explained. Lots of potential story that doesn't really go anywhere.

Blade Runner (1982)

Shining a brief coca-cola vidvertisement on a day in policeman Deckard's life, Blade Runner is a sci-fi film that plays by its own rules; it is a generous, muted blooming through diffused, rain-lit neon.

Blade Runner (1982)

I understand why people love this film, but I've always had more of an academic appreciation of Blade Runner than a personal connection. It's powerful, thought-provoking and visually stunning, but (and maybe it's just the Director's Cut), it's never felt entirely complete.

Blade Runner (1982)

I love "Blade Runner". Twenty-one years old and hasn't aged at all ... Scott, working with less-advanced film technology, is tough to match to this day. E.g. "Looper", a film in a similar vein, which doesn't even come close it BR's depth and complexity.

Blade Runner (1982)

Dystopian future films can be great or really painful, this one falls into the first category. Despite all the edits this movie has gone through, and I'm cool with the narration BTW, the overall film still shines. Make up your own mind about what Deckard is or isn't.
