Blood Simple (1984)

If there's one word to describe Blood Simple, it's "tight". Not a single frame is wasted in this impressive thriller. Its simple story is told with craft and precision, brings out excellent performances from the cast and delivers some highly memorable scenes. Top notch.

Blood Simple (1984)

I really like neo-noir and this early Cohen Brothers film has all the elements of great noir but in a more contemporary setting (Contemporary for 1984 anyway). A quiet film with sinister urges lurking around every corner.
