Boyhood (2014)

i dunno. as an act of "performance art", maybe it deserves the merit. as for me, i felt at times as if i were binging on a TV show from the nineties--one that wasn't very interesting. it did have a certain charm, but ultimately, whatevs.

Boyhood (2014)

This IS NOT a film, it's sociological study of a family with melodramatic tendencies. And it didn't move me. The film doesn't go anywhere.

Boyhood (2014)

Without doubt one of the best of the year. Its achievement is well beyond the novelty of the time span over which it was filmed, although the form allows for the most compelling character development.
