Good Will Hunting (1997)

Pretty incontestably great. My only real qualm was with the writing - while good, it wasn't always well-conceived. Had Damon and Affleck done this later in their careers I'm sure it could have been better.

Good Will Hunting (1997)

A good movie. Not spectacular: Affleck and Damon wrote it as young, developing artists, and it shows. Some of the dialogue is just ridiculous and incredible ("How do you like them apples?"). That stated, I enjoyed it.

Good Will Hunting (1997)

I prefer the more subdued Robin Williams we get in movies like this to his "wacky" roles. I'm not sure the story is Oscar worthy (as it won best original screenplay) but it is good, and with the acting that backed it up it is justly remembered as one of 1997's best.
