Iron Man 3 (2013)

tony was cheeky so i went ha then there was an explosion so i went ohhh then there was a meltey face man so i went whaaa then there was betrayel and i went hooooooo then there was murica' so i went yeaaaaaa then tony punched bad guy and called him a stupid idiot 10/10

Once more I'm at odds with the burnreelers average ratings. I love that Shane Blacks grubby little hands are all over this. RDJ has this role down by now and it's clear he relishes Blacks dialogue, as should we all. For entertainment value I gotta give this high marks.

This should have been a great (or at least incredibly enjoyable) movie, but it wasn't, it was decidedly mediocre. RJD/Sir Ben were great but Cheadle sucks the fun out of everything he touches. It sounds strange to say this, but I feel like this was a lost opportunity.

The ending made no sense at all. Without spoiling the movie (which i really should do to prevent anybody else spending money to watch this in theaters) why wasn't "operation party house" available in the beginning of the movie? Like when he was being attacked by helicopters?

Way too many clichés and plot holes to be an interesting film. Robert Downey Jr. is still great but the script isn't. I'm sure I could have figured out a better ending 20 years ago when I was drunk.

RDJ's charm makes up for a lot of this movie, but it was sort of bizarre. I was enjoying it up until the last big battle, when.. well. It's like they forgot what the whole movie was about up til that point an hoped you would too.

280 characters is far too few to fully describe my disappointment with Iron Man 3. So...to some up. Great super hero..crap movie..bad writing. Montage in the middle is bizarre. I hope Pacific Rim isn't destroyed by same writer. Don't spend money to see this movie. Ah, made it!
