Rubber (2010)

This review is going out to counter wintermayer's bad review. I <3'ed this movie. Seriously. Again, I may have been under the influence while watching it, but I thought it was genius!

Rubber (2010)

An homage to "No reason". Also the answer to why this film has a cult audience. How do you make a movie about a tire that spontaneously develops sentience and a bloodthirst? You don't...you make "art" and you make a point. Would have made an interesting short, but not a feature.

Rubber (2010)

A brilliant and loving analysis of the formulaic arbitrariness of the horror genre. Rubber stars a malicious tire, but the real star of the show is an insight into way horror ticks, and how with thoughtful execution the deconstruction can trump the construction by far.
