Side Effects (2013)

This had the potential to be really good, I thought, but wasn't able quite bring its promise to fruition as the script eventually became predictable. Still - the movie had its merits and wasn't a complete write-off. Its too bad it went the way of mediocrity.

Side Effects (2013)

A solid thriller, with some foreboding insight into the world of mood enhancing pharmaceuticals. Definitely didn't see the twist coming. Enjoyed Jude's performance, and excited to see where Rooney Mara's career heads.

Side Effects (2013)

Soderbergh probably won't be hanging this on his mantle, but it wasn't a bad film. It definitely loses points in the second half, although I will say this had a twist I didn't see coming.

Side Effects (2013)

Great first half. An interesting look into mental illness and the process of balancing medications and their side effects. Halfway through it turns into a typical thriller with mediocre twists and turns. Worth a look if you're a thriller fan.
