Signs (2002)

It's true the majority of plotlines here can only be described as stupid but I want to be positive about Signs because I still think it's Shyamalan's second best film. Story is gripping, atmosphere is undeniable, and there's depth to the characters even if performance is patchy.

Signs (2002)

Despite all its efforts, this movie is ultimately stupid. An advanced, alien civilization plots the invasion of Earth and somehow forgets to take into account the fact the planet is composed largely of water, which is toxic to them. Whoever wrote that plot line is an idiot.

Signs (2002)

A movie trying to go for suspense but just ends up with bad, bad acting. I only give this more than a 0 because the children still have some room to grow as actors and they need all the help they can get.
