The Color of Money (1986)

Almost criminal that I left this unwatched. Newman is mesmerizing in this oscar-winning role and its fascinating to watch Cruise before he became Cruise. Tons of 80's hilarity with Scorcese exploiting all the kitshiness popular in the era to great effect.

The Color of Money (1986)

Scorsese directs a rare sequel, and not even to a movie he did the original of. This sequel to The Hustler uses Paul Newman and Tom Cruise well and really makes pool hustling look enjoyable, although risky.
