Synopsis:

The Guard (2011)

A very solid buddy-copper that only gets better as it moves forward. Take out the exotic locale and the story's rather thin, but, on the whole, a very enjoyable (and lighthearted!) bit of Irish cinema.

The Guard (2011)

Brendan Gleeson is one of the best currently working and here he shines as an uncouth, mildy racist police office in a small town in Ireland who has to work with Don Cheadle's FBI agent on a drug trafficking case. Dark humor and inappropriate laughs abound.
