The Hunt for Red October (1990)

Quite a tense, enjoyable thriller from a time when these were more common. The "red menace" paranoia spy films are a loss of our modern filmic world that is missed. They don't make 'em like they used to definitely applies here.

The Hunt for Red October (1990)

Crackerjack cold war 80s-era film. One of the greatest casts ever assembled - Connery, Baldwin, Ackland, Neil, Jones, Currie, Guttman etc. Brilliant adaptation of a brilliant book. Suspense and action are well balanced. Great lines and scenes.
