The Ref (1994)

It is a massive oversight that I have not reviewed this before now. Genuinely one of my favorite films and a great example of an alternative Christmas movie. It has that right amount of sardonic 90's sweetness mixed in with its cynicism.

The Ref (1994)

An oft-overlooked holiday treat, this film not only features great performances by the three leads, but you basically get 30 minutes of Denis Leary stand-up thrown in. It has some moments of real honesty, decent laughs and the usual holiday morality play. Kevin Spacey is a treat.
