Nice to see Depp take a roll where he isn't a distracting spectacle, and he's really good in this. Still, the awesome cast was weighed down with some of the film's pacing issues. Bit of a swing and a miss here, or maybe just an unremarkable single. It wasn't bad.

Some stuff was really great: casting, acting, design. But why I'm giving a not great score is because of the ending and the pacing. Couldn't feel a conclusion approaching and the past/present jumps were wasted and made unnecessary. Wont re-watch but enjoyed watching.
