Aliens (1986)

A great addition to an extraordinary series. I do slightly prefer the eerie cold dark terror in Scott's entries in the series. . . .but this one is still excellent.

Aliens (1986)

One of those movies so filled with tension that my whole body ached upon leaving the theatre. Absolutely fantastic pacing, actoring, and incredible sets. Goopy villains are due for a comeback, I feel.

Aliens (1986)

The golden standard of sci fi sequels? Despite some minor annoyances, I can't seem to find or think of a better one. I've got high hopes for the next Alien film.

Aliens (1986)

Ridley set it up, Cameron knocked it out of the park. Getting away from the Sci-Fi a little and more into the action vein that was so popular at the time, James Cameron took a chance with the franchise but injected his B movie aesthetic into Alien with a budget that made it work.

Aliens (1986)

Chase many sci-fi or military cliches back to their source and you'll find a surprising number of them birthed by Cameron's Aliens. Perfectly paced, excellently acted and flawlessly executed Aliens is a sterling example of storytelling done right.
