Children of Men (2006)

This film will make you question a lot about humanity with its gritty cinematography and highly believable plot lines. And that one scene (you know it once you see it) has brought me to tears on more than one occasion. Must watch.

Children of Men (2006)

Alfonso Cuaron shows us in this film that he is the master of long takes, and few cuts. Brilliantly cinematographed and directed, with a most excellent cast, this is a wonderful, brilliant film. One of the best films of 2006.

Children of Men (2006)

Children of Men stays exceptionally authentic from end to end with sufficiently fragile humans and none of the bravado that usually soaks this kind of film. CoM is a touchstone for why bigger isn't usually better for drawing an audience into the action, and setting.

Children of Men (2006)

An apocalyptic film that actually feels real. Frighteningly real. Superb performances by everyone involved. The drama and suspense builds throughout and the final catharsis is visceral. Yes I liked it.

Children of Men (2006)

Cuaron's cool camera captures quick cuts of carnage, Clive's compelling character, and a commendable quietus. Properly penned plot promised to pique particular people's proclivity for post-apocalyptic pics.

Children of Men (2006)

Clive Owen can scowl with the best of 'em and this dystopian future film still manages to look like it's based in reality that we know instead of something more created. Excellent film.
