Magnolia (1999)

A movie I had to see more than twice to completely get, and that's not a bad thing at all. Cruise stole pretty much every spotlight, though every performance was award-winning. Very interesting, and even among PTA's braver films, this is the most honest piece I've seen from him.

Magnolia (1999)

Amid this eruption of perfect scores, I figured I'd take the time to review my favourite movie shame-free. For years this was never my #1 (although I felt the magic), but as time went by I realized I couldn't pull a tooth of critique for it. It only gets better with every watch.
