Seven Psychopaths (2012)

Reminds me a lot of 50s pop art, it's head is so far up its own ass it re-emerges out of the whole upper torso area where the head normally is, so it appears as just a pretty decent movie. Really likable cast. I think this movie wants me to care more about it than it warrants.

Skip Seven Psychopaths, it seems too smug, smart, and silly. Great group of guys getting gassed on garbage.

Quite good, but don't look for another In Bruges as this is a fairly different sort of film, although it does share some hallmarks from the previous McDonagh/Farrell collaboration. Walken, as usual, is a highlight.

I agree with most people about what they like about this, "A little Tarantino, a little Kaufman", yep. "A great cast", yep. "Interesting".... nope.

Good movie with a great cast by the same director as In Bruges. Funny and violent and with an interesting narrative.

Just fell a little short of the class of In Bruges for me but still one of the most wildly imaginative, fun, zany films of the year. A little Tarantino, a little Kaufman and great performances from Sam Rockwell and that man, Christopher Walken.
