Synopsis:

The small city of Tarker's Mill is startled by a series of sadistic murders. The population fears that this is the work of a maniac. During a search a mysterious, hairy creature is observed. This strange appearance is noticed once a month. People lock themselves up at night, but there's one boy who's still outside, he's preparing the barbecue.

Gotta call this lesser King. I do like watching bands of vigilante rednecks getting what they deserve though and I do like any touch of the crazy Busey brings to things.

Silver Bullet (1985)

The ending I thought up for this was way, way better than the ending they went with. Straightforward werewolf-meets-courageous-teen story. Still better than any of the werewolf movies of the '00s.
