The Green Mile (1999)

A stellar ensemble - in which figures Hanks, in what is his best performance ever (IMHO) - come together in this emotional story of guards and captives, husbands and wives. Simply amazing.

The Green Mile (1999)

Frank Darabont has proven he knows how to tell Stephen King stories and this one is no different. He finds the heart and the tragedy in The Green Mile and puts it front and center. Casting Tom Hanks was a great move as he really holds it all together.
