Synopsis:

In the late 1960s, the Beach Boys' Brian Wilson stops touring, produces "Pet Sounds" and begins to lose his grip on reality. By the 1980s, Wilson, under the sway of a controlling therapist, finds a savior in Melinda Ledbetter.

Beach Boy Brian's blow by blow's bien embodied by Bill, Banks, and buddies. Paul 1 proffers a prime performance, paradoxically Paul 2's past his prime and probably the poorest piece of the puzzle.

Love & Mercy (2015)

Of all the ways you could have told this story, the form factor here was really interesting. Dano was really good. Even Cusack - who is hard to take seriously, showed up too. Tons of good Beach Boys tunes - sold. See this one if you haven't already.
