Synopsis:

Mississippi Grind (2015)

Mendholson's grade-A performance affirms for me that he's the most captivating actor working today. Good role for Reynolds, but his charisma lacks the earnestness needed to be effective. Hits all the beats it needs to though. Make room for this one amongst all the xmas hype.
