Ender's Game (2013)

I never read the book but I still wouldn't exactly call this unpredictable. Still though, it was decent. Harrison Ford wasn't too distracting and the CGI work was decent. Not the greatest sci-fi we could hope for, but an acceptable placeholder.

Ender's Game (2013)

Lots of potential, unfortunately it obviously aimed at teenagers, instead of a wider audience. Entertaining mind and war games in the end. I found Ford miscast. Butterfield is obnoxious in this role; nothing likable about him.

Ender's Game (2013)

Overall this gets a pass - but it was severely hampered by some glaring flaws that weighed down the awesome story and premise. I wanted a darker, more mature take on it. It told an adolescent story in an adolescent way. It really could have been awesome.
