Killer Joe (2011)

While I find the abruptness of the ending very problematic I thought this was a good late period picture by Friedkin. Very dark, but that's William Friedkin for you. McConaughey's comeback to serious actor has another notch on its belt.

Killer Joe (2011)

I think I get this movie. Maybe not though, a lot of people seem to like it. Just because you think of a weird, confusing, and disgusting thing that Matthew McConaughey agrees to do on screen, doesn't make the movie good.
