The Shining (1980)

26 years late to the party, but found this surprisingly "enjoyable" as much as a horror story can be enjoyable. Some great artistic shots. Really expected more type writer though.

The Shining (1980)

A most satisfying horror-thriller, with some of the best actors. Duvall's character is annoying, but the cast is perfect. Some scenes are truly terrifying and that is what makes this movie remarkable. Definitely Kubrick's best work.

The Shining (1980)

Rewatched this in preparation to watch "Room 237" (see following review). I didn't remember there being so many points where I kinda chuckled and rolled my eyes. There is tons of awesome in this - but a good dose of cheese and misfires too. It's obviously a classic though.
