Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

Half a movie played twice. Perhaps the only movie one could watch on fast forward and retain everything.

Oddly enough, I didn't love this. The action was well shot and put together but something just didn't connect to the extent that I thought it would. Good, but missing a certain something that would push it into greatness.

Visually amazing. Action packed. Wild ride!

Two-hour chase scene done magnificently. An action film with actual characters, as well as a rich and meaningful setting. Also possibly the best use of diegetic music I have seen in a film made in the last three decades. It combines thematic significance with cars and explosions.

Easily the best movie I've seen in theatres in years. Fast paced from start to finish with amazing editing, atmosphere, and utter chaos.

Magnificent must-see movie for action aficionados or dystopian devotees. Mel's the muse of a mighty (maybe melodramatic) modern message.

You can feel how much effort they put into this and it pays off!

Absolute, glorious lunacy in the best way you can think of. My sky-high expectations were actually exceeded. Flooded with both beautiful and demented imagery, this is an all out orgy for your eyeballs. But the break-neck pace is calculated and never feels uncontrolled.
