Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014)

Yay for spy gadgets. Those are great. Less yay for the wildly - and weirdly - violent romp this turned out to be. I was expecting different. Also, kudos for the most patriotic ode to Scanners that I've ever seen. Bonus points for Samuel L Jackson's lisp.

Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014)

Wasn`t expecting such a high level of absurdity. Nor the sausage fest. Fun to see Colin Firth as an action star but feeling mislead by the internet, which made this movie a little harder to enjoy.

Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014)

Very fun Matthew Vaughn flick with kinetic and stylish action as he usually delivers with a whole lot of 60's Eurospy plotting and tone. Not for those in the mood for high-minded or dramatically poignant fare, this is entirely about entertainment.

Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014)

Bad in ways that don't matter. If you love action and can ignore childish plot points with mediocre dialogue then it's an incredible watch. Samuel Jackson was definitely the standout, but he might have had the easiest role to be shine in.

Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014)

1 part comedy, 1 part serious protege spy movie - making for an ambitious marriage of genres. It succeeds on many levels, but misses the mark on others, but in the end is a fun, hilariously over the top movie with solid action.
