Jiro Dreams of Sushi (2011)

This movie is a testament to how a great documentary film maker can take a seemingly ordinary story and draw out its beauty and wonder. So slick and well made that the viewer (or me at least) is absolutely riveted and invested in film and its characters.

Jiro Dreams of Sushi (2011)

A phenomenal and beautifully portrayed documentary concentrating on Jiro Ono. Throughout its entirety, I was utterly mesmerized by his vigorous work ethic, his sheer passion towards his craft as well as the pressure applied to those functioning alongside him. Truly inspiring.

Jiro Dreams of Sushi (2011)

This doc really isn't about sushi at all. It's about a man, his family, and his philosophy toward life and work. Regardless of whether you find him an inspiration or a little insane, I guarantee you will appreciate this glimpse into his remarkable life.
