From the music to the sound effects to pop culture references & the structure with flashbacks that go over the top, this is basically a live action Family Guy....which is fine if you like that sort of thing. Luckily I do so this was funny enough to say is worth a watch.

Lots of very funny scenes, but way too much focus on the Walberg/Kunis relationship. Needed to lose the RomCom formula and center more on Walberg/Ted hijinx.

I said I wouldn't watch this, but it happened. Positives: There's a few laughs to be had even if you despise Seth MacFarlane and weep for Mark Wahlberg in the twilight of his career. Negatives: Ted is utterly uninspired. Minus the bear this is cookie cutter rom-com at its worst.
