Gravity (2013)

Not sure what's all the fuss about.Just finished watching this and I can't see why it got good reviews. I understand the great effects and whatnot. But Sandra's born again transformation never gave me any of dem feels and Clooney = Danny Ocean in space. Sorry not my cup of tea.

Gravity (2013)

Amazing how the first half, which basically takes place in open space, can still feel so claustrophobic. This was a huge feat for a film with basically only two on screen actors. The technical accomplishments in shooting this make it special.

Gravity (2013)

Gravity was great but Clooney's character came off kinda kooky and I sort of slept straight through Sandra's suicide sequence. I think that this thing would thrill in 3D.

Gravity (2013)

Despite the very simple story and the few dialogue, the movie had my attention for its full running time. The cinematography is amazingly well done, and deserves its Oscar nomination. Way more interesting than many other space movies.

Gravity (2013)

A lot of brave decisions were made in the filming of this movie and they all worked. See it even if you don't think you're interested, you won't regret it. A truly great movie.

Gravity (2013)

Always beautiful and never dull. Writing can be a touch too melodramatic at times but mostly stays on cue. I actually thought this was incredibly moving. Bullock's best, by a lightyear.

Gravity (2013)

The most thrilling and immersive use of 3-D I have ever seen (I have not yet seen Life of Pi in 3D). Amazingly long rolling shots and absolutely breathtaking directing met with dialogue that, not feeling redundant, did not have the same gravitas or pull.

Gravity (2013)

Superwins on effects, makeup & cinematography. Challenge of films that touch on realities of present spaceflight: more amazing detail=scrutiny of probabilities/realism. Mediocre writing. Watch "Mission to Mars" to see hardest scene here better written. Still, a great movie.

Gravity (2013)

Thrilling, beautiful, and truly deserving of the term "movie magic". Go see it on the biggest screen you can find.

Gravity (2013)

I would say worth the buzz. Cuaron will definitely get a directing nomination and the movie will get one for best pic. It's been a lackluster year so far - so good to see the big guns coming out. Bullock's yoyo role choices baffle me. From "the heat" to this... hilarious.
