Gone Girl (2014)

Not sure how I am suppose to feel about this film. David Fincher takes it and rolls with the dark aspects of the book. Transition in the film seems weird and awkward. I recommend watching it. I did enjoy it, but I still need to sit back and take it all in.

Senna (2010)

Another great documentary to watch. I watched Rush last week and knew about this film. Finally sat down and watched it this evening and I wasn't disappointed. Great story and tribute to one the greatest drivers in F1 history.

Boyz n the Hood (1991)

What a powerful film, solid acting from start to finish. Lawrence Fishburne, Gooding and Ice Cube really put on an excellent performance and give this movie a backbone and push it in the right direction.

The Battered Bastards of Baseball (2014)

Great documentary on a team that was viewed as villians but were heroes to many. They revitalize a sport and showed that you didn't have to follow the norm and didn't need to color inside the lines. It's definitely worth the watch regardless if you're a sports fan or not.

Horror Express (1972)

The movie credits above fails to mention Christopher Lee as one of the lead actors. Awesome horror flick with lots of gore and a solid storyline. Check it out for something different and a change of pace from today's offerings in the horror genre.

Warrior (2011)

Very genuine acting, even though the plot is predictable and the outcome certain. The acting keeps it out the realm of just another fight movie filled with testosterone and glorifying the sport of MMA. Very well choreograph and the performance by Nolte is something to be admire.

Mad Max (1979)

Just finished watching this trilogy. I like the grittyness that the films bring to the table. It doesn't take long for the films to get into the thick of things and the madness. Looking forward to upcoming reboot with Tom Hardy...think he can bring a lot to Max's character.

Gravity (2013)

Not sure what's all the fuss about.Just finished watching this and I can't see why it got good reviews. I understand the great effects and whatnot. But Sandra's born again transformation never gave me any of dem feels and Clooney = Danny Ocean in space. Sorry not my cup of tea.
